摘要

A monolithic pulse frequency modulation control DC-DC boost converter, which is suitable for white LEDs driver integrated circuit, is presented in this paper. The proposed boost converter is capable of driving 6 white LEDs about 20mA output current. The input voltage range is from 2.3V to 6V and the maximum output voltage V{sub}(out, max) is 29.6V that is suitable for lithium ion battery applications. The converter circuit is designed and simulated by using UMC 0.6μm embedded high voltage 30V CMOS technology. The maximum quiescent current is only 0.16mA and 84% efficiency can be achieved.
