In 2009, For nazokomiyal infections that developed in the patients, clinical observation and laboratuary-based surveys were investigated at BSK Denizli Surgery Hospital's intensive care units (General Intensive care unit, Neonatal intensive care unit, Cardiovaskuler intensive care unit). Measurements were made every month. The percentage of infected patients and infection rates were calculated in intensive cares. Accordingly, in June, the rate of infection was determined to be 1.9 and month of the year as the fastest growing infection were identified. Moreover risk factors on the basis of the months have been identified then according to the factors, infectious agents have been specified. According to these results in June, in turn of infection rates of Neonatal intensive care unit, General intensive care unit and Cardiovaskuler intensive care unit are measured as percent7.69, percent12.5 and percent15.79. Made in these calculations were used for statistical quality control charts. Quality control charts are used in P and C charts. P and C charts are compared and then the infection rates are investigated whether or not under control.
