Mobile Communication in Research and Medical Practise -Certified Training Series for Physicians, Psychologists and Public Health Service Employees

Particularly physicians must have access to up-to-date scientific knowledge in case their patients attribute their health concerns to the electromagnetic fields (EMF) of mobile communication. Since 2005, the Information Centre for Mobile Communication (IZFM) offers certified trainings for physicians and related professionals. During 34 trainings in German cities, meanwhile 1.2000 participants have been briefed concerning physical characteristics of EMF and their effects in the areas of biology, epidemiology and environmental medicine. Three lectures are presented by independent scientific experts, covering the topics: a) Spread and effects of EMF b) Biological effects below the safety margins; c) Doctor - patient communication.
