The purpose of this. study is to establish a whole-body averaged specific absorption .rate (WB-SAR) experimental estimation method using the total power absorbed by humans; a cylindrical-external field scanning technique is used to measure the radiated RF (radio-frequency) power. This technique is adopted with the goal of simplifying the exposure dosimetry of humans of different postures and/or sizes. We have carried out experimental estimation using constructed SAR measurement system for standing human models [I]. Here, in order to conduct WB-SAR measurement for various postured human models, as next step, a pilot study of numerical analyses using Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method is examined.
