Ambient energy harvesting is an extremely viable power solution for wireless sensors: remote, hard to reach areas; plug-and-forget; mass deployment. Customers care more about the power supply than how it is harvested: concerns are harvested power, size, cost & reliability of product; our need to understand/evaluate available energy source. EH solutions are becoming more and more commercially available now. Transportation market is a great opportunity for energy harvesting.
