EUS education around the world: Europe

@@Aim of this presentation is to give some up-todate information about EUS education and training in Europe. One of the major problems in EUS diffusion in clinical practice has been and is still the training of good quality endosonographers. There is a strong need for organized training. Wheter or not EUS and the new related technologies will significantly impact the practice of endoscopy, gastroenterology, surgery and oncology is highly dependent on solving the issues of training.
