Quality of Service (QoS) provision is one of the major concerns of Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless service providers. This paper analyzes the performance of a Bandwidth and QoS Aware (BQA) LTE uplink scheduler with respect to delay sensitive traffic. The BQA scheduler fulfills the QoS requirements of various traffic-types by utilizing target delay and target throughput based metrics. Additionally, the delay requirements of delay sensitive traffic classes (such as voice and video) are guaranteed by employing delay threshold parameter for QoS classes. The QoS performance of scheduler regarding delay sensitive traffic for single and multi-bearer users is analyzed and compared to other commonly used schedulers in several simulation scenarios. The simulations generate satisfying results.
