We extracted and characterized JFs from Jatropha curcas oil and seeds. The JFs enriched fraction can be used as a crude standard to screen for detection of these toxins The Jatropha oil (25ml) produced ~12 μg JFs The Jatropha seeds (2g) contain ~3.85μg JFs
