By using the peptide affinity column, anti-TNF-α mAbs were recovered without any interferences from the human plasma and cell culture fluid components. Further, the glycan heterogeneity of mAbs had absolutely no effect on the column affinity. The mAbs recovered by using the affinity column retained the binding activities for TNF-α. Our affinity column could be used as a mAb purification tool for the bioanalysis of each glycoform of the anti-TNF-α mAbs. In addition, the affinity column could be used as a purification column in the manufacturing process of anti-TNF-α mAbs.
