1. The signal strength of nicotine fragment in old particles is larger than that in fresh cigarette particles. The nicotine signal also increase with the particle size. 2. After a 24-hour aging, secondary ion species increase in the old particles, while primary ion species decrease. 3. Classification results show the fine distinctions between different brands of cigarettes.
