High Throughput Bioanalysis of Bile Acids and Bile Salts Using UGPLC Coupled with High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS)

1. A simple and effective LC-MS method was successfully developed on Q Exactive, a high resolution mass spectrometer operated at resolution of 70,000 in full scan mode, for the quantitation of 19 bile acids/bile salts in a high throughput fashion (in ～10 minutes). 2. Excellent linearity, with an average of 0.994, was obtained form the 19 bile acids/bile salts spanning ≥3-order of magnitude.
