1. Integrated analytical platform for the early detection of nine lysosomal storage disorders was developed based on modern separation techniques and ESI-MS/MS. 2. The multiplexed assay uses an incubation in common buffer, a minimal post-incubation work-up and simultaneous instrumental analysis, thus significantly reducing time and required labor 3. The high through-put instrumental analysis (90sec/sample in case of UHPLC and parallel column regeneration) 4. Integrated analytical platform meets all requirements of neonatal screening and clinical laboratories 5. It can be further expanded to include future enzyme assays and to quantify metabolites
