IMS appears to be a viable and versatile method for analysis of crustaoean neuropeptides and proteins: 1. Quantitative high duty cycle MS/MS produced inaccurate chimeric spectra that could be purified by IMS extraction in both neuropeptide mixtures and extracts. 2. DiLeu LC-IMS-MS/MS was also applicable to tryptic protein digests. 3. IMS-MS may be albe to investigate gas and solution-phase structures of crustacean hyperglycemic hormone (CHH) neuropeptides Ongoing and future work will focus on quantitation for data-dependent MS/MS processes and further conformational investigations.
