1. A simplistic End-to-end quad coupling interface results in significant RF cross talk. 2. A Lens-separated quad interface eliminates the RF cross talk but requires complex mass and energy dependent tuning to alleviate noding and has poor MSMS efficiency. 3. A Lens-Free Decoupler interface self-cancels the RF cross talk while keeping the advantages of a lens-free design: optimum MSMS efficiency, minimal tuning and robust operation.
