Analysis of Tissue Samples by Liquid Extraction Surface Analysis (LESA) Coupled to a Differential Mobility Spectrometry (DMS) - MS/MS Device

LESA was capable of reproducibly extracting compounds from various regions of a whole rat section. DMS enabled separation of complex mixtures, without the use of LC, improving all modes of measurement on the QTRAP~R 5500 system. LESA combined with DMS was capable of finding a drug and its fragile metabolite from specific regions of a whole rat section.
