MRM on laser microdissected material from FFPE tissue material is possible. MRM assay to study relative levels of proteins in FFPE laser microdissected cells using synthetic peptides as mass tagged internal references is possible. Qualitative measurements of immunohistochemistry were confirmed by quantitative measurements using MRM.
