We established a new validated method for the simultaneous determination of theophylline, caffeine and their metabolites in human urine. The calibration ranges of TP. 137X and 1MX were linear from 5 to 1000 ng/mL (correlation coefficient, r>0.9965). The calibration ranges of 17U was linear from 10 to 2000 ng/mL (r>0.9974). The calibration ranges of 13U. 3ME, and 1MU were linear from 100 to 2000 ng/mL (r>0.9928). This new validated method for the simultaneous determination of the theophylline, caffeine and their metabolites in urine was suitable for the pharmacokinetic analysis of clinical study samples using small volume of 0.05 mL urine.
