Immobilized RNases for the Analysis of Transfer RNAs (tRNAs) by Mass Spectrometry

Centrifugal filter tube centrifugation successfully removes RNases from the sample but also seems to retain the higher molecular weight digestion products. Immobilizing RNases onto beads is a promising method that does not affect tRNA digestion and digestion product detection. Enzyme carry-over from the beads into the sample is found to be negligible.
