It is the first study about the phenolic fraction in E. grandis, E. urograndis and E. maidenii bark extracts; HPLC-ESI-MS and MS~(n) analysis allowed the identification a total of 32 phenolic compounds, including several phenolic acids and esters, flavonoids, flavonoids glycosides, galloylglucose derivatives and ellagitannins in the bark from four species of Eucalyptus; 14 of the compounds identified in E. globulus bark are referenced for the first time as its constituents, being digalloylglucose and catechin the most abundant; Epicatechin and quercetin-glucuronide are the most abundant compounds in E. grandis and E. urograndis bark, while in E. maidenii bark extract catechin and methyl-ellagic-pentose are the major compounds.
