Correlation of Imatinib with Proteome Response in Glioma Mouse Xenografts by MALDI Imaging Mass Spectrometry

摘要

Drug distribution can be correlated with protein response in glioblastoma implanted brains using MALDI IMS. Results indicate drug distribution can have a either direct positive or negative effect on detected protein signals. Small molecule imaging can be used to determine quantities of parmaceutical compounds present in tissue. Imaging MALDI MS is a valuable tool for pharmacodynamic studies with correlation to pharmacokinetics.
