摘要

We have developed a program based on Matlab that facilitates the analysis of information about AD, permitting the planning of new experiments aimed to elucidate the etiology and progression of the disease. The software allows analysis of many features of AD-associated proteins, including their relationships to other proteins in the same metabolic or functional pathway. Three-dimensional visualization of protein interaction networks facilitates the analysis of highly-complex molecular pathways such as those observed in AD. Program architecture can be used to analyzed protein networks related to other diseases, provided that the databases are correctly annotated and curated.
