Sequencing Polypeptides from Leukocyte of the American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) using Mass Spectrometry

Protein Separation: (1) RP-LC separated proteins for identification and peptide sequencing; (2) Lower mass peptides enriched using IEX Peptide Identification; (3) NCBI and MSDB protein database; (4) Blast search unassigned peptides; (5) De novo unidentified peptides. RP Separation for Purification: (1) Eight peptides were resolved; (2) Two peptides were active towards E coli; (3) Four low mass peptides were identified.
