摘要

When a Bi Syndrome is identified, "Muscle Specific Acupuncmre" is the concept of knowing what points will relieve a specific muscle or group of muscles that are involved. I come back to my favorite "Bi syndrome" saying that "bones, tendons and even ligaments only function on the basis of what muscles tell them to do." One must also recognize that unless there is a Qi response at the points being used, there is little or no effect. The muscle specific approach uses mainly IVAS named points as well asmany points known as traditional points having Chinese names. Occasionally they are un-named latent "trigger points." The concept may be datively referred to as Ahshi acupuncmre or, "just finding a sore spot and sticking a needle in it."
