Huge investments are estimated to be more than US$1.5b justifying participation of only global players. The volume of the fleet and number of ships serving submarine cables are not expected to increase therefore restoration time will remain the same. Huge investment, overcapacity and lack of real diversity push prices down and impact on the market as a whole.
