A research into the blending of sulfur fixing additives during burning of slurry-making coal

The TG-FTIR analysis was made on Xinwen raw coal, so main sulfur-fixing additives were determined. in succession the effects of additives on sulfur-fixing efficiency were discussed. The increased amount in sulfur-fixing efficiency of additive M_1, M_2 and M_3 were 27.0 percent, 25.3 percent and 24.6 percent, the blended sulfur- fixing efficiency was 58.7 percent. At last the mechanism of accelerating sulfur fixing of additives was discussed. additive M_1, M_2 accelerated sulfur- fixing reaction, increased the melting point of ash, additive M_3 was catalyzer during SO_2 transformed to SO_3.
