The aim of the work was to get stable sensitive films for chemical sensors with good sensitivity to amines in air. Some formation aspects of nanostructured silica films obtained by sol-gel route and doped with heteropolycompounds of the eighteen series are discussed in the paper. Particular properties make heteropolycompounds attractive as active additives for forming of gas-sensitive films. Addition of heteropolycompounds into silica film results in significant change of electrophysical characteristics. Forming conditions and sensitivity to aliphatic amines of chemical gas sensors based on nanostructured modified silica films activated by different admixtures were investigated.
