DROXO is a XMM-Newton large program that explored the p Ophiuchi Cloud with a500 ks observation. We present the main properties of the 111 X-ray sources detected in DROXO.We achieved an average sensitivity of fx 10-15 erg s-1 cm-2 in unabsorbed flux and Lx 1028erg s~(-1)in luminosity (0.3-10 keV band). Typically the source spectra are highly absorbed (NH 2 10~(22)cm~(-2)),with a mean plasma temperature of kT~1.9 keV. Saturation Lx/Lboiratio occursat masses of M 0.5-0.7 MO and, below these values of masses, the relation between Lx and massfound for Orion Nebula YSOs [1] is found valid also for the X-ray luminosities from YSO in p Oph.
