Maxillary arch growth of unilateral complete cleft lip and palate operated simultaneous Cheilo-Palatoplasty, compare with Mucosal Flap method, and Mucosal Graft and Flap method.

Consequent 15 cases of simultaneous primary Cheilo-Palatoplasty to unilateral complete cleft lip and palate patients were reviewed. Maxillary growth was not significantly different from the former surgical method, and fistula of palate, cross bite, and collapse were rarely seen,We implement simultaneous Cheilo-Palatoplasty to unilateral complete cleft lip and palate patients from August 2000, trying to minimize the load on the patients. We analyze the influence to the dental arch and occlusion on this method, compared to former method on the same institution.
