Optimal Control for the Jibissa Absorption Plant

摘要

The paper represents the results of the research in the field of the modeling, simulation, optimization and control of the absorption process. The beginning of the research has been the natural gas treating plant Jibissa of Syria. This paper is structured in five parts. The firs part contains the structure analysis of the natural gas treating plant Jibissa, where the authors have identified the input and output variables of the each subsystem. The second part contains the model of the absorption subsystem. In the third part, the authors have analyzed the actually control structure of the absorption process. The fourth part is dedicated to the development of the optimal control structure. The last part contains the advantages of the optimal control system.
