Using suspended substrate stiplines, multi-octave band pass filter (2- 8GHz) has been developed by the integration of low pass and high pass filters. Finite Difference Method has been used to characterize the single, broad side coupled and partially overlapped SSS's in this paper. SSS low pass filter has been developed based on generalized Chebyshev prototype and SSS high pass filter has been developed based on simple Chebyshev prototype.
