A NOVEL TARGET SIMULATOR SCHEME FOR MONOPULSE RADAR

摘要

Monopulse radars provide intelligence to the systems carrying them. The technology available today gives them capability to detect signals with very low signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio. To test and evaluate such radar, simulated environment is necessary. This paper proposes one such scheme to build a simulator for Ka-band monopulse system that can simulate target velocity, acceleration, trajectory, amplitude fluctuations (swerling cases), missing pulses and most of other target characteristics.
