In order to prove that the semicircle trench belt conveyer can achieve the transportation of the great inclination angle, the semicircle trench belt conveyer's basic design principles were proposed by analyzing its working principle. What's more, on the basis of the analysis, the reasonable supporting roller group scheme of arrangement was presented. And through the comparison between the semicircle trench belt conveyer and other forms of belt conveyer, the characteristics of the semicircle trench belt conveyer were summarized. This kind of belt conveyer has a wide application prospect.
