Finland's new Act on Legal Deposit and changes in the Copyright Law came into force in 2008. The Act on Legal Deposit and Preservation of Cultural Material encompasses the archiving and preservation of different categories of cultural material from traditional print material to newer categories such as web pages films and television and radio programmes.
