摘要

The effects of filler-filler and polymer-filler interactions on the rheological and mechanical properties of wood flour filled high-density polyethylene composites were investigated. The results showed that both filler-filler and polymer-filler interactions caused an increase of the storage modulus and complex viscosity of composites. Filler-filler interaction decreased the tensile and impact strengths and elongation at break of composites, due to the stress concentration caused by filler agglomeration. Strong polymer-filler interaction increased the tensile and impact strengths due to good stress transfer.
