Effects of High-temperature Stress on Growth and Grain Filling in Rice

摘要

The Fourth Assessment Report of Intergovern-mental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2007 strongly implied that the increasing trend in global temperatures since the mid-20~(th) century is the result of increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gases concen-trations. Average temperatures increased by 1.06 ± 0.25 °C from 1898 to 2004 over Japan, and further temperature increases have been predicted by global climate change scenarios.
