摘要

M. hyo vaccination is used in most countries at different ages in order to control pneumonia. Slaughterhouse investigations utilizing macroscopic quantification of consolidated lung are commonly used to evaluate the results of M. hyo vaccination programmes. Often, the timing of M. hyo vaccination needs to be adjusted relative to the timing of pathogen exposure to obtain the best results. This abstract is a description of changes in lung lesions and production parameters on a farm after 1) no vaccination, 2) applying M+Pac~R at the same time pigs were exposed to M. hyo and 3) applying M+Pac 3-5 weeks before pigs were exposed to M. hyo.
