A novel video encryption scheme based on chaotic maps is performed. First the video sequence to be encrypted is taken. Then it is split up into frames. If the frames are larger in size, then it is broken into macro-blocks for the operation. The high dimensional Lorenz chaotic system is employed to confuse the position of the pixels. Multi-key concept is used to improve the security of the cryptosystem against attacks. Security analysis is performed to test the proposed cryptosystem and the system is proved to be robust against various attacks.
