Benefits realized during pilot program include: Contributed to a reduction of product damage; Reduction of injury risk factors; Reduction of injury claims; Trends monitored for each behavior by area so that supervisors could address problems with workgroups as needed. Challenges: Observation days and times were consistent so data may not accurately represent all days and times; Using only one observer may create biases; Employees may be on "good behavior" when they know an observer is in the area.
