摘要

When the temperature of rail is changed, the transverse deformation of switch rail appears because the end of switch rail is connected with stock rail. If the transverse deformation is too large, the bounds of the space and the distance between stock rail and switch rail would be exceeded, and the comfort and the security of travel would be influenced. Using the FEM commercial software, a calculation model of No.42 ballastless jointless switch for passenger dedicated line is established, and the transverse deformation in different configuration formats at the end of switch rail is calculated. Based on the calculation results, some conclusions and suggestions are put forward for the design.
