There have been several papers that studied the importance of improvisation in product development process. But little study has been done regard to impact of envisioning, one of designer's interpretive style as well as the precious working tool in the emergent knowledge process, to the improvisation. Envisioning has two impacts, cognitive and emotional, to improvisation. Tactics is to strengthen these two impacts. In this paper we will study the relationship between envisioning and "Tactics for speed" as tools to developing improvisation process. Envisioning and improvisation all together are explained in the frame of Kolb [24]'s experiential learning development theory.
