The Northwest Solar Cooperative was formed in 2002 to aggregate the purchase and sale of Renewable Energy Credits (REC's) fiom small solar photovoltaic system owners in the Pacific Northwest to REC buyers.. The Cooperative has grown dramatically from its start in 2002 to nearly 900 kW of solar capacity by end of the year 2006.
