For a reliable diagnosis of plant diseases and insect pests, it is very important to reproduce theoriginal colour of the object. But it is not certain by conventional colour imaging systems. Natural colour system is capable of reproducing the original colour of objects using multispectral images. In this paper a natural colour reproduction system for the diagnosis is presented. The images of the cucumbers' leaves are captured under the illumination of incandescent lamp by the narrow-band multispectral system and reproduction on a display device. For accurate colour reproduction, the spectral reflectance of plant diseases and insect pests is calculated using Spline Interpolation in the process. In the experiment, it is confirmed that the system realizes good accuracy in the colour reproduction of plant diseases and insect pests from 14 narrow bands multispectral image.
