It seems to be easy to obtain glare rating if a luminance image captured, yet there are severalserious problems when applying any glare rating system to the luminance image. In this study the authors propose to use 'brightness image' by Nakamura to specify possible glare sources in the luminance image, and develop a system to obtain glare estimation image, whose every pixel has glare rating when eye direction agrees with it, from any kind of a luminance image.
