RESEARCH ON OFFICE LIGHTING QUALITY - FIELD RESEARCH OF CHINESE OFFICE WORKERS

摘要

Office lighting should provide a lighting environment that makes office workers perform visualtasks comfortably and effectively. Many elements contribute to the quality of office lighting, which are very complicated. The author uses both lab visual performance test and subjective evaluation, analyzes the test and evaluation data towards Chinese office workers, to verify the effectiveness of the factors that affect office lighting quality. Since nowadays VDT is widely used in modern office, the lab test concentrates on visual performance test on VDT. Find out that to Chinese office workers, the most acceptable and efficient office lighting style is direct-indirect lighting. Some differences from foreign research results and design guides were found through the experiments.
