摘要

This paper introduces the evolution and achievements of modern Chinese lighting,with focuses on the characteristics, successes and problems of urban lighting on different phases of the decades-long rapid development. This paper also discusses the trend of Chinese urban lighting in development philosophy, planning, design, energy conservation, environmental protection and law-based management, etc.
