Objective quantum and subjective quantum are two factors that to evaluate the luminance of buildings lighting. Contrast to objective quantum, the evaluation of subjective quantum is more complicated. The research of psychological physics about the subjective psychology has a long history. Psychological physics is a research method which uses corresponding physical means to explain the psychological phenomenon. It is mainly about measuring the physical quantum that corresponding with common psychological phenomenon. The purpose of our optic subjective evaluation is to get corresponding subjective quantum and to find the relationship between the subjective quantum and the objective quantum, according to which to direct the objective quantum. Usually the evaluation of night view lighting based on psychology theory adopts the method of semantic distinction quantum table. As we know, the influence factors of the psychological evaluation to visual environment are complex. If we want to evaluate a complicated object like the whole environment, obviously it is not sufficient to only use psychological dimension corresponding to the feelings such as luminance, glare, and so on. We need to evaluate the brightness degree and we can use the method that one factor corresponding to several evaluation quantum table for reference, which had been put forward by domestic scholars. We need to analyse people's visual psychology and the forming process of visual aesthesia. Then we use all kinds of factors corresponding to the vision in psychology and chose a series of factors which related to visual aesthesia but not related to brightness degree directly, to evaluate the brightness degree by listing several corresponding subentry evaluation quantum table. At last we can use statistics to find the relationship between the subentry evaluation and the general evaluation.
