摘要

Human plasma contains over 1500 different lipids at the sum composition level. Yet the number of unique lipids present is surely higher, once isomeric contributions from double bond location and fatty acyl regiochemistry are considered. To close this gap, ozone-induced dissociation (OzID) is incorporated into data-independent lipidomics workflows, thus enabling complex extracts to be profiled for unsaturation and regioisomerism by construction of 2D maps.
