The investigation of detergent addition to tryptic digests for improving in-situ proteomic experiments.

Although the addition of 0.1% OcGlu was previously reported to greatly increase peptide yieldl, current investigations show that DDM and MEGA-8 produced richer peptide profiles thus enabling the detection of low-abundant proteins. Further work includes optimising the detergent mixture, whilst manual data interpretation and identification of peptides remains on going.
