摘要

We report an acrylic multimode polarization maintaining fiber fabricated by birefringence-reduced polymers. Fiber core was fabricated by co-polymer of positive and negative birefringence monomers, methyl methacrylate and benzyle methacrylate. Extinction ratio shift to the fiber length have shown high polarization maintaining function of copolymer fiber compared to other types of plastic optical fibers.
