MICROSTRUCTURED POLYMER FIBERS IN BRAZIL

摘要

Microstructured polymer fibers (mPOF) are being fabricated in the Speciaty Optical Fibers Laboratory (LaFE) at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. In this work the initial results will be presented, in particular those related with a single mode fiber, a bimodal fiber, a spun fiber with elliptical birefringence and a two cores fiber made with PMMA cladding and cyclo olefin cores.
